We're working hard to keep our local communities moving with tailored, responsible solutions in place across our sales and aftersales departments.

Important customer notice regarding the latest Government Announcements.

Following the announcement from the UK Government from the 12/04/2021 Sherwoods will be able to open their doors again. This means you can now come and look at our stock and speak with us face to face. It will be mandatory to wear a face mask unless otherwise exempt. Hand Sanitiser will be supplied at our entrances and exits for your use.

If you still don't feel ready to come visit us at one of our sites, you can still book a virtual appointment and speak to one of our friendly sales staff from the comfort of your own home.

With our Sherwood’s Safety-first measures now well established, you can be sure to feel safe when you visit a Sherwood’s showroom or service centre. Our teams have continued to work hard all year to deliver the amazing service that our customers have come to expect, whether virtually or face-to-face.

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times. We are very much open for business and look forward to helping you with your next vehicle purchase or service.

Sherwoods Safety First is built on three key factors:

  1. Working hard to put Safety First - Strict adherence to government guidelines and recommendations at all times, including social distancing, full sanitation processes, temperature checks for staff, and more. Visits to all of our locations are currently strictly by appointment only. As part of Sherwoods Safety First, we will be limiting the number of staff and customers at all of our sites. 
  2. Working in new ways- Our commitment remains to our customers, teams, and communities, and we will be as flexible as possible to assist everyone who may need to purchase a new or used car, or require a service, repair or MOT on their current vehicle. We are currently offering Click and Collect, remote test drives, responsible local delivery, contactless payments and more. 
  3. Working with you- We're proud to adapt to new guidelines and will continue to work hard to deliver the highest standard of customer service for all customers across sales and aftersales. All of our showrooms have been updated with signage and sanitisation facilities, please take time to follow and utilise these when visiting us at your set appointment time. We look forward to welcoming you and working together to put safety first... 

 

What We Offer:

Remote/Unaccompanied Test Drive*.

How it works:

  • Make an appointment on a vehicle you have interest in.
  • When the vehicle is getting dropped off at your home or work, we will drop the car off wearing full PPE (Mask and Gloves). Before handing over the keys we will sanitise the car.
  • We will give you a quick overview of the controls from a 2m plus distance and then hand over keys.
  • On a home or work unaccompanied test drive, we will clean the car down again and bring the car back to the site.
  • We will then contact you to see what steps you would like to take.
  • Let us know if either of these options interest you, and we will arrange this for you.

How it works

Simply find the New or used vehicle you are interested in and contact our sales department or book your Live Video Appointment 

  • We will send you a link which will allow a two way communication between you and a member of the sales team.
  • The stream is bespoke to you and gives you control to focus on the features of the vehicle that are key to you.
  • It is very simple and doesn’t require you to download anything
  • None of your details are stored on the device making it very safe for you the customer.

How it works:

  • Make an appointment on a vehicle you have interest in. We will bring it to you to inspect and carry out an unaccompanied test drive.
  • When the vehicle is dropped off at your home or work, we will be wearing full PPE (Mask and Gloves).
  • We will give you a quick overview of the controls from a 2m plus distance and then hand over keys.
  • Once you have viewed or test drove the vehicle, we will clean the car down again and bring the car back to the site.
  • If you want to purchase the vehicle this can be done online at the Sherwood’s website or via a live video call from the dealership.
  • Let us know if either of these options interest you, and we will arrange this for you.

How it works – Our Simple Three Step Process

1. Select your car and reserve online

Find a vehicle on the website that you like and use the “Reserve It Now” button.

2. We’ll be in touch to assist and complete your purchase

Once we receive your enquiry we will contact you to arrange the rest!  You are able to arrange finance quotations and get a part exchange valuation on our website ahead of making a reservation, but when our team contact you we will be able to assist directly with anything you may need.

3. Choose Click and collect or Delivery now.

Once you have spoken to our team, you can choose if you want to collect your vehicle or have it delivered to you.
